Sometimes you need to give in to your cravings. In those cases, this hummus is the perfect way to have your buffalo wings and eat them too…without all the fat and grease.
This is a great way low-fat way to indulge yourself. The tahini paste makes it creamy smooth without any oil or added fats. Not to mention, this is a great dairy free way to indulge those BBQ chicken wing cravings and much healthier than the traditional BBQ Chicken Wing dip.

I’ve yet to meet a hummus that I don’t like! And I love how creative this one is. You definitely can’t find this one at the store! Yummmm…I’m going to need to stock up on chips!
This is so good, but watch out. Once you start making it at home, you won’t want store-bought anymore. The tahini is the key ingredient making it super smooth. Hope you like it!
LOVE this! What a great idea. And talk about perfect timing … I know what I’m bringing to the LSU watch party this weekend
Excellent! I like to cut the celery up into squares so they are kind of like chips. At least, that’s been my latest with this dip. We are already on our second batch.
Enjoy! Go Tigers!
Oh my – this does sound yummy! I can’t wait to try it out.
It’s really that good and better. I made regular hummus this week and we were both totally disappointed. Will be making this for our next batch!
Hey there,
I love making my own hummus too, and I’ve also discovered it doesn’t need oil! Have you ever tried subbing pinto beans for chickpeas? Or fat free feta cheese (blue cheese?)for tahini? I have my recipes on my blog too, but you can bet I’ll be using the BBQ/Hot Sauce version in a few days!
Jules
Thanks so much for the note. I haven’t tried that, but I am definitely going to. Yum pinot beans!
What a great idea for some holiday dips.
