I feel like I am on a 150 mph train.

I am running from commitment to commitment, trying to focus on the moment but getting stuck in everything I haven’t done.

I can’t seem to keep up and my to-do list is running off the page.

I took an HTML class and learned that I have way more to learn.

I thought I was super smart in buying these produce freezer bags only to realize they were full of microscopic holes to keep the produce fresh. I realized that when I was marinating turkey breasts in them. Oops.

I have a new camera but don’t know how to use it.

My latest recipes have been flops. Major gag reflex after today’s lunch.

Summer is here and I want to enjoy every moment, but when will I have the time?

Life just seems really hard.

When Manatee hosted a guest motivational speaker at his unit’s last meeting, the speaker talked about focusing on a better second thought. We have knee-jerk reactions to a lot of situations and it’s hard to control those, but we can always control our second thought.

I challenge you today to have a better second thought.

Step up today instead of falling back.

Accept instead of coveting.

Rise to the challenge instead of hiding behind excuses.

Laugh sooner.

My Second Thoughts

I feel like I am on a 150 mph train. Better take a deep breath.

I am running from commitment to commitment, trying to focus on the moment but getting stuck in everything I haven’t done. Stop and celebrate what you are getting done. You can only do one thing at a time.

I can’t seem to keep up and my to-do list is running off the page. Better make a smaller, more doable list!

I took an HTML class and learned that I have way more to learn. The first step is acceptance and I learned a lot of great resources.

I thought I was super smart in buying these produce freezer bags only to realize they were full of microscopic holes to keep the produce fresh. I realized that when I was marinating turkey breasts in them. Oops. Good story, right? And lesson learned. Probably better to marinate the turkey breasts in a covered glass container, anyway.

I have a new camera but don’t know how to use it. Going to a class tomorrow night and the local technical college offers classes. And there is always Automatic.

My latest recipes have been flops. Major gag reflex after today’s lunch. The next recipe has to be better.

Summer is here and I want to enjoy every moment, but when will I have the time? Must make sure I enjoy each moment and make time.

Life just seems really hard. Nothing good every comes easy.
