I got tagged by an excellent Midwest blogger, Lizzie from That Skinny Girl Can Bake. I wish I lived closer to Lizzie because I would totally be the neighbor always stopping by around dinnertime. Her recipes always look fantastic.

So with this little blog game, you pick your three favorite dishes to eat that you have featured on your blog. This is is definitely a tough one.

Favorite #1:

Veggie Stuffed BBQs. This was a very recent post but a very old recipe. I love having this in the house. The sauce is sweet and tangy. With all the veggies and ground sirloin, I don’t feel too bad eating it. It freezes really well and it’s like green eggs and ham. You can eat it on a bun, over chips, with a spoon, over salads, you name it. You can also eat it here, you can eat it there, you can eat it everywhere!

Favorite #2:

Pizza Puff Pastry Sticks or Homemade Pokies. I made these in honor of my teenage nieces but they are now my favorite appetizer/party food. We were supposed to have a party last week and I was really excited to make these. When the party was cancelled, I was super disappointed. We will have to have a party soon so I can whip up another batch. They are really easy to make and taste more sinful than they really are. Rich tomato sauce, italian spices, gooey cheese all enclosed in a flaky, buttery crust. Yum!

Favorite #3:

Double Chocolate Decadence. These single serving chocolate tarts are the perfect ending to a meal. They freeze really well. I am still eating a batch I made in mid-July. I simply take them out of the freezer when we sit down to eat and by the time we are finished, my dessert is ready to go. Who needs Hostess cupcakes when you can eat these made-from-scratch chocolate goodness tarts? No chemicals, just good ole fashioned chocolate, whole wheat pastry flour, espresso powder and heavy cream.  Yum!

Now I am going to pass this on to some of my favorite bloggers:
