As important as it is to look forward, it’s equally important to look back and reflect on 2012. Thanks to the wonders of WordPress, I can share with you the top 5 most viewed posts of 2012. I think it’s a great representation of what I am trying to do with the blog and coincidentally, these represent some of my favorite recipes.

#5 Clean Baking Pumpkin Muffins

This is actually a post from 2011, but it’s been popular this year. These are an oldie but goodie and this recipe was a great foray into the world of clean baking.

#4 Badger Girl Book Club: Wheat Belly

Please see the humor in this. This book is anti-muffin and bread and anything containing wheat. I love the juxtaposition of these two posts and think it’s a great representation of the blog. I also like to think it makes me open-minded and not just wildly inconsistent.

#3 Badger Girl Granola 6.0

This was my first Foodbuzz featured post and it’s one of my favorite recipes. It’s clean, it’s healthy, and it’s wildly addictive.

And the most viewed post of 2012 was………

#1 Pineapple Infused Vodka

This was by far the most fun to make and to consume. Infusing vodka is so easy and a little dangerous. Since this post, we have also infused orange, ginger, basil, cucumber, and (my second favorite next to pineapple) cranberry vodka. Yum!
